So right now I am typing on my blackberry. I already had an iphone so I thought to myself that it was best that I got something different. I wanted a new phone and my contract is due to end in 2014 so I figured that I might as well get a blackberry. And I must say that I have missed writing on this qwerty keyboard. Something about it just feels great in the hands. The thing is, when people make fun of BlackBerry, they are really just making fun of BBM and that whole “Can I have you PIN?” bullshit. I’ve missed this. I do feel like a businessman using this when I typed up emails. When I saw my cousin last year, I thought it was funny how he used a blackberry but he told me that when you are emailing people all day, it’s helpful. Plus now, I’m even more surprised at how great the battery is for this phone. I never regret anything and I surely don’t regret getting this phone.

I was filming this gig yesterday. There was another film crew at the venue. Inspecting their equipment, I came to realize that my camera alone was worth more than their entire set up. For a split second I felt a bit superior which was terrible. We all start from somewhere. I was in their position over 12 months ago. I came to conclusion that I still have a long way to go before I can ever become truly successful. These cameras & lenses are just tools. It’s about making most of what you have.
